1.Honey often helps. Sudafed PE should not help, theoretically, as it is a decongestant (shrinks the swelling of the lining of your nose). If your cough is truly caused by allergies, a better choice would be loratidine (Claritin) or diphenhydramine (Benadryl).
2. Fresh lemonade and add a pinch of Cayenne Pepper. Lemonade contents Vitamin C which may prevent allergy symptoms.
3.Ginger and peppermint can help with the nausea. Ginger is a natural Antihistamine. Licorice may help soothe your throat as well as help you with coughing.
4. Pure squeezed lemon juice with honey for the runny nose. It also cures coughs.
5. Peppermint oil. Couple of drops in a bowl of boiling water, breathe in the steam.
